Our Client is a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. With over 80 years of history in the banking industry, the bank is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five specialist teams—business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services—working closely together to harness technology for both physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems and banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The successful candidate will work in a newly set‑up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations and will deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities
- Provide L3 production support for Core Banking applications on AS400 platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform incident, problem, and change management as per ITIL processes.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues escalated from L2 support within agreed SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes for recurring issues.
- Support Channels & EAI integrations and related interfaces.
- Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless resolution of issues.
- Work on ALDON for automated software deployment and release management on AS400.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring.
- Provide support for payment systems and related processes in production environments.
- Perform performance tuning, capacity monitoring, and batch job optimization.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge articles for issue resolution and system improvements.
