KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, including statutory compliance, benefits, allowances, deductions, and final settlements
- Manage a high-volume payroll portfolio while maintaining strict timelines.
- Review and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Partner with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters, including budgeting, reporting, and audits.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
- Handle complex payroll queries and escalations effectively.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee data and payroll information.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.Proven experience managing payroll in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Strong knowledge of local labor laws, statutory contributions, and payroll compliance.Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HRIS.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Willing to travel or relocate (scheduled to move to a new HQ in Bukit Raja by October 2025).
Currently will be based in Section 51, Petaling Jaya.
