As an Electrical Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will support the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems. Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Kuala Lumpur on a Hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technologies covered under this position profile are primarily Gas Processing and Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) systems, with the option to also cover other Honeywell UOP Process Technologies.
• Work as an Instrumentation engineer for field instrument, control valve and control system design.
• Participate in development and review of basic plant and equipment layout / general arrangement and modular 3-D models.
• Complete assigned project work per the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support technical sales support to produce optimized process solutions in both the budgetary and fixed proposal phases that can be smoothly handed off for project execution.
• Support Customer Specifications Review and contribute to development of Exceptions & Clarifications Communication when required on Fixed Price Proposals.
• Prepare engineering Documentation which includes calculations, data sheet and specification.
• Review and approval of vendor data and fabrication procedures. Ensuring consistency of vendor data with other design documents.
• Design of Electrical & Instrumentations (E&I scope) for Gas Processing, Refining & Petrochemical projects – Instruments focus
• On the basis of UOP-standards and practices, in compliance with Client-requirements, the person will develop, redact / issue / revise all Technical UOP-specifications forhis discipline. These will entail automatic control valves, instruments, control panels and cabinets, motors, etc.
• Coordination from the technical side for the purchase of components and automatic valves

Liaise with the Mechanical engineer who is following up on piping and skid fabrication for each contract. The CS&I engineer will coordinate, check-out and inspect his discipline's part during that fabrication. The job for this part too requires short-duration traveling, typically within Asia
