Position Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Employee Experience Executive (HR Executive), with a strong focus on Payroll Management for Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing employee lifecycle activities, and supporting HR business partnering initiatives. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements while fostering an engaging and positive employeeexperience.

Key  Responsibilities :

Payroll Operations (Malaysia)

  • Maintain accurate employee payroll data including commissions, overtime, allowances, and deductions
  • Calculate and validate leave encashments, bonus payouts, and statutory contributions
  • Review payroll reports against staff movements and stakeholder updates
  • Manage statutory compliance and ensure timely submissions to EPF (Employees Provident Fund), SOCSO (Social Security Organisation), EIS (Employment Insurance System), LHDN (Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia) – including PCB, CP21 (departure) and CP22A (cessation) and HRDC (Human Resource Development Corporation)
  • Process accurate GL (General Ledger) entries and prepare bank files for payroll disbursement
  • Prepare and distribute statutory reports such as EA forms, CP8D, and other annual returns
  • Manage onboarding payroll setup and leave forfeiture processing in line with company policies
  • Maintain organized records and filing of payroll-related documents
  • Keep updated on payroll legislation, system changes, and compliance updates

Business Partnering & Employee Experience

  • Act as HR partner to department heads, providing advice aligned with business needs
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle; onboarding, employee relations, engagement, retention, and exit processes
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, and propose compensation packages for local roles
  • Drive performance management processes, including KPI setting and year-end reviews
  • Support talent development initiatives, employee engagement projects, and HRDC training claims
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects in Training & Engagement
  • Ensure smooth onboarding integration and promote a culture consistent with company values (R.E.S.P.E.C.T)
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in HR operations and payroll management, preferably in Malaysia
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, HRDC)
  • Proficient in payroll systems (eg. SAP, Workday, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality
