Job Scope

You will support Oleon's global sourcing strategy by :

  • Identify the best matches for Oleon raw material strategic sourcing.
  • Mapping tolling service potentials (e.g., ethoxylation, beading).
  • Building price analytics capabilities for palm oils prices.
  • Engaging strategic supply sources to gear up supply securities of Sustainable Regulatory compliance raw materials, especially related to EUDR.

Roles & Responsibilities

1.

Supplier SWOT Mapping

  • Building template to enable efficient & effective suppliers & competitors information data build up.
  • Compiling and organising suppliers & competitors information.
  • Research and profiling global suppliers & competitors.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis to identify strategic fits for Oleon's global sourcing.

    Building Suppliers' capabilities in providing Oleon with Raw Materials meeting new Legislation requirements

  • Gap analysis of EUDR requirement vs suppliers capabilities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to drive strategic suppliers engagement to build their capabilities to provide Oleon with raw materials meeting new Legislation requirement.

    • 3.

    Tolling Service Potential Mapping

  • Identify tolling partners for ethoxylation, beading, and other value-added processes.
  • Evaluate technical capabilities, location advantages, and cost structures.
  • Intelligent use of AI to make attractive constructive presentations to build cohesive collaboration with tollers.

    • 4.

    Price Analytics & Market Intelligence

  • Analyse price to ascertain value propositions (undervalued, right value, overvalued).
  • Track commodity fund activities (open positions, trade volumes) and funds inclination on palm oils prices.
  • Develop dashboards or models to support procurement position decisions.

    • Some trips to Singapore are to be expected (30%).

    This internship is to begin by the end of 2025, or the beginning of 2026, for six months.

    Skills & Requirements

  • Education : Master or Degree graduating students in Procurement, Pricing Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong in Excel, Power BI, Powerpoint presentation, for data analysis and presentation.
  • Research Skills : Ability to create template, organise, compile and gather market intelligence.
  • Communication : Clear written and verbal communication in English.
  • Interest in Sustainability : Passion for building solid company strengths in strategic sourcing.
  • Team Player : Collaborative mindset with proactive
