Infrastructure / Hardware Specialist - Petaling Jaya

Job Scope :

You will be an integral part of a vibrant team of engineers that demonstrate excellent technical competency in problem solving and delivering in a mission critical environment. In your role, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring systems and infrastructure, which include installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

You are expected to perform OS security hardening, OS patches and upgrades, system implementation and performance monitoring and will proactively ensure highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. You will also be responsible for administration support and inventory documentation related to systems and infrastructure.

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent qualification
• Excellent technical skills in TCPIP, configuration and troubleshooting PC and server hardware knowledge with proven hands-on experience
• Experience in Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, Active Directory, Windows Server and Microsoft Office
• Willing to work outside normal business hours as needed and travel on short notice
• Ability to work independently and work well under pressure
• Proactive, resourceful and a team player
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
