Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Solution Engineer to join our team and lead technical engagements within the financial services industry, with a particular focus on cross-border payments, remittances, and API integration solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored technical solutions to support global financial institutions, merchants, and payment service providers.
This role involves direct engagement with leading global payment and remittance players, across different countries and regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong API expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Technical Engagement & Client-Facing Support
- Serve as the technical lead during the pre-sales cycle, driving conversations with global financial institutions, top-tier merchants, and remittance partners.
- Engage in physical client meetings and industry exhibitions to provide on-the-ground technical consultation.
- Understand complex client requirements and translate them into feasible and scalable integration strategies.
2. API Strategy, Design & Delivery
Lead the design and delivery of API strategies tailored to meet diverse client use cases and regulatory landscapes.Design and execute robust API test cases covering functional, performance, and security testing.Ensure that API implementations meet both technical and business requirements while maintaining high levels of system stability and compatibility.3. Cross-Border Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.Coordinate with internal teams including product, engineering, QA, and operations to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.Collaborate with partners from over 100 countries, ensuring that all communication is clear, professional, and culturally appropriate.4. Project Management & Delivery Oversight
Manage multiple concurrent technical projects with a focus on quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.Identify and resolve technical issues during project implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule.Maintain full ownership of technical project outcomes during the pre-sales and initial deployment phases.5. Documentation and Efficiency Tools (Preferred)
Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including API specifications, integration guides, user manuals, and test reports.Build internal tools or scripts to improve the efficiency of testing, deployment, and ongoing support.Contribute to process improvements and reusable solution templates.Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in pre-sales technical support for B2B cross-border financial projects, with a focus on solution delivery and client integration.Strong proficiency in API testing methodologies and execution, including the use of tools such as Postman, JMeter, and SoapUI.Solid understanding of agile development methodologies, with demonstrated project management and cross-functional coordination skills.Experience in financial technology delivery, including familiarity with international payment standards (e.g., ISO and foundational knowledge of SWIFT system.Preferred Skills
Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies, and experience applying them to enhance workflow automation and efficiency.Working knowledge of Java, with the ability to read and understand Java code logic.Hands-on experience with integration tool development using languages such as Python and C#.
