Job Summary :

As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling video content for social media, promotional campaigns, and other platforms. You will work closely with our creative team to edit raw footage, incorporate sound and visual effects, and ensure the final product aligns with the project's vision and objectives. Responsibilities :

• Editing Footage :

Assemble raw footage, use cutting techniques to connect clips, and create cohesive and engaging reels.

Storytelling :

Utilise editing to effectively convey messages and tell stories visually.

Sound Design :

Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enrich the auditory experience of our videos.

Visual Effects :

Apply transitions and effects to enhance visual appeal.

Collaboration :

Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure productions align with creative visions.

Feedback Incorporation :

Actively incorporate feedback to refine video edits.

Quality Control :

Conduct final reviews to ensure all content is free from errors and meets technical standards.

Trend Awareness :

Keep abreast of the latest trends in video editing and social media to integrate fresh, innovative ideas.

Asset Management :

Manage and organise video files and assets for efficient workflow.

Timeline Management :

Ensure timely delivery of projects, managing multiple assignments concurrently.

Qualifications :

Education :

Degree or diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field.

Experience :

Previous experience in video editing, including internships or freelance work. Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects is advantageous.

Skills :

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and basic knowledge of After Effects. Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and creativity. Ability to work under tight deadlines and translate ideas into complete projects.

Language Proficiency :

Fluent in English.
