Job Responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end export sales process from quotation to delivery.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely shipment.
  • Prepare proforma invoices, sales contracts, and order confirmations.
  • Prepare and verify export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and relevant government bodies.
  • Communicate with international customers regarding product details, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Provide after-sales support and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with abroad clients and agents.
  • Prepare export quotations and ensure pricing aligns with company strategy.
  • Monitor freight costs, currency fluctuations, and tariffs to maintain competitiveness.
  • Support the Chief Commercial Officer in achieving annual export sales targets.
  • Arrange and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage export insurance coverage and claims if necessary.
  • Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, or damages.
  • Identify new export market opportunities and potential distributors.
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Provide recommendations for market entry strategies.
  • Prepare periodic export sales reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate sales and customer records.
  • Highlight potential risks or opportunities in export operations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a Diploma or higher in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in export sales, logistics, or international business.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (additional languages an advantage).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel (both locally and outstation).
