OT-GTS Specialist (Operational Technology - Global Technology Services)

Overview

OT-GTS Specialist (Operational Technology - Global Technology Services). This role supports business manufacturing applications and infrastructure, serving as an advisor for business needs. As part of the BCP infrastructure team, you will propose smart solutions and work closely with site leaders and zone managers.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day systems support and maintaining service levels
• Expert for maintenance of systems infrastructure and recovery methods for systems running MS Windows, MSSQL, VMware, LAN devices, databases, and applications processes
• Advisor on life cycle management for infrastructure and manufacturing applications and interfaces
• Advisor on new technologies and systems infrastructure
• Perform systems upgrades for security and problem-solving
• Conduct disaster recovery in accordance with existing procedures
• Provide third-level support and advanced analysis
• Provide time estimates for resolution of problems
• Organize or contribute to projects and prioritize tasks for project completion
• Adhere to IS standards, including change management standards
• Keep up to date with corporate IT (security & privacy) regulations and apply where appropriate
• Execute configuration and capacity management of IT infrastructure
• Maintain infrastructure for automated monitoring or procedures for manual monitoring
• Instruct outsource partner (TCS) as part of change management
• Provide technical support to users and other IT staff – firefights, problem resolution, training
• Emergency support for business and operating units
• Provide critical support for P1 / P2 incidents
