About the role

• As an Account Executive at YT Civil Engineering, you will play a key role in managing the company's financial records and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time position is based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, and offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing engineering firm. Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries Preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Liaising with external auditors and providing support during the audit process Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations Providing administrative support to the Finance team as needed Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance What we offer
