As a Software Tester, your journey with us will be to ensure that software applications meet quality standards by detecting defects, verifying functionality, and confirming that requirements are met before release.

Overview What you will be doing?

Key Responsibilities

Test Execution

Perform various types of testing (functional, regression, usability, performance, security, UAT support).

Execute manual or automated test cases.

Record and document test results.

Defect Tracking & Reporting

Log defects in defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Work with developers to reproduce, debug, and verify fixes.

Provide clear, detailed bug reports.

Quality Reporting

Prepare test summary reports.

Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project managers and stakeholders.

Collaboration

Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA team members.

Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements to testing processes, tools, and workflows.

Stay updated with QA methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.

Min 3 years of working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates will be considered.

Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

Experience with manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory).

Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).

Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum practices.

Knowledge of test automation tools : Selenium, Katalon.

Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman).

Basic understanding of CI / CD pipelines.

Experience in testing Web and Android applications.

Attention to detail and critical thinking, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Able to work with minimal supervision.

Malaysian citizen.
