The Assembly and Test Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assembly and testing processes of products to ensure they meet quality standards and production goals. This role manages a team of assembly technicians, coordinates production schedules, and ensures compliance with safety regulations. It promotes and practices LEAN manufacturing through the implementation of Kaizen / Continuous Improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the assembly and test team to ensure efficient and accurate production.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
• Monitor production output and quality control to ensure products meet specifications.
• Train new employees on assembly techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the assembly and testing processes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and quality control, to ensure a seamless production process.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the assembly area.
• Establish employees’ objectives, coordinate and implement internal and external training, and carry out reward and disciplinary actions as required.
• Drive the team to meet department objectives in SQDC through LEAN and stabilized processes.
