Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer (Backend) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in backend development using Java (version 8 and above) and Spring Boot. You will be responsible for building and maintaining microservices-based applications deployed on AWS ECS, with a strong focus on containerization using Docker. Experience working in Agile teams and proficiency with tools like Jira and Bitbucket are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement and manage microservices architecture on AWS ECS.
Containerize applications using Docker and ensure smooth deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Utilize Jira for task tracking and Bitbucket for version control.
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in backend development.

Proficiency in Java (version 8 and above).

Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework.

Hands-on experience with Docker or container technologies.

Experience with microservices development on AWS ECS.

Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Working knowledge of Jira and Bitbucket.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
