SALES & PURCHASING EXECUTIVE

Overview

CORETECH GMC SDN BHD' is seeking an experienced Sales & Purchasing Executive to join our team on a contract basis. This position is based in our office in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. As the Sales & Purchasing Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing purchasing activities to support the company's growth objectives. What you'll be doing

Present company profile, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and build strong relationships with new and existing clients. Identify new sales opportunities, prepare quotations and contracts, negotiate pricing, and work toward increasing monthly sales targets. Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and updates to management. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality, and terms, and resolve any delivery or product issues. Monitor stock levels, plan transport schedules, and manage full import / export documentation to avoid delays and shortages. Ensure all procurement and sales activities follow company policies, e-Invoicing standards, and sales and service tax (SST) regulations. Maintain accurate records of sales and purchasing transactions and update ERP or Excel systems for real-time tracking. Work closely with internal departments such as finance, operations, marketing, and production to support end-to-end business processes. Responsible for business development and intelligence activities to support strategic sales growth and optimize purchasing decisions. Perform additional sales and purchasing-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives. What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or purchasing role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent Have good knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001 Established connections with specialty gas companies or Semiconductor companies Professional knowledge of logistics and Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP), along with relevant hands-on experience Strong negotiation and customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships Proficient in inventory management and supply chain operations Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements What we offer
