About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Merchandiser to join our dynamic team at Caroma Cafe Food (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading player in the retail and consumer products industry. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining an optimal in-store presence for our products, ensuring they are displayed in an engaging and visually appealing manner. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our brand.

What you'll be doing

  • Regularly visit retail outlets to assess product placement, stock levels, and overall brand visibility
  • Restock and arrange product displays to maximise shelf appeal and drive sales
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights to the marketing team
  • Collect and report on key in-store metrics, such as sales data and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with store managers to ensure our products are well-represented and maintained
  • Assist with the implementation of promotional campaigns and special merchandising projects
  • Coordinate with store managers and retail staff for promotional activities and events.
  • Provide weekly reports on stock movement, competitor activities, and display status.
  • Collaborate closely with sales team to meet sell-out targets and push high-demand products.

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 years of experience in a retail merchandising or sales role
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual merchandising
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with store personnel
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-centric approach
  • Familiarity with the retail industry and an understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must possess a valid driving license and own transport.
  • Willing to travel within assigned territory (KL / Selangor or South Malaysia).
