Company Background

We are representing our client an M&E service provider specialising in electrical serices, extra low voltage system, fire protection system, air cond & mechanical ventilation. Our client is currently looking for experience candidates from the construction / property / M&E industry to fill the Financial Controller position to be based in Ipoh, Perak .

Location : Ipoh, Perak

Main Responsibilities :

To develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards

To provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team

To offer strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team

To manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports

To advise on long-term business and financial planning

To provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets

To ensure the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group

To establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

Requirements :

Possess professional certificate such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA etc.

Experience as a senior financial management role within the construction / M&E / property industry.

Experience in public listed company / experience in IPO listing process.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin language due to business need and liaising with Mandarin speaker contractors.
