The Opportunity
This position works within the ANI Malaysia organization and is responsible for leading the Demand Planning and S&OP processes, driving forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory health, and supporting business excellence initiatives. The role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, FP&A, Sales, and external distributors.
The Demand Planning Manager will play a key role in ensuring operational effectiveness, aligning business plans, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
What You’ll Do
S&OP / Demand Review Leadership
Prepare S&OP/Demand Review agendas, packages, and meeting minutes
Consolidate Affiliate Demand Statements
Identify and investigate exceptions (abnormal demand, supply issues, constraints)
Provide in‑market/to‑market and inventory analysis
Prepare and communicate the Affiliate Demand Report to the Area
Lead gap analysis between S&OP outcomes and financial commitments
Data Management & System Integrity
Ensure accurate and timely publication of data across all relevant systems (JDA, Cognos, SAP APO, and local S&OP/Finance models)
Performance Management & KPI Tracking
Track assigned KPIs for Area or Corporate
Provide insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve affiliate performance
ADS & Demand Processes
Actively participate in ADS planning processes
Lead or support margin and profitability projects related to demand
Coordinate and consolidate demand forecasts with major customers/distributors
S&OP Governance & Business Excellence
Lead development of policies and procedures relating to S&OP, Demand Management, and Business Excellence
Promote continuous improvement and drive innovation to streamline processes
Manage gross‑to‑net spending and forecasting ASP for ANI Malaysia
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Lead reconciliation meetings with Marketing, Logistics, and FP&A
Align forecasts with in‑market sales, market intelligence, and commercial inputs
Review Business Projections vs. Adjusted Forecast
Inventory & DOH Management
Manage DOH for Abbott and external channels (Tier 1 & Tier 2)
Ensure DOH levels align with Plan/LBE and highlight risks
Visit key customers to validate DOH, demand trends, and market dynamics
Stakeholder Relationship Management
