Senior Medical Science Liaison (Metabolic and Aesthetics)

Purpose of the Role
Senior Medical Science Liaison (SrMSL) provides scientific and medical support for therapy areas assigned. SrMSL executes the medical strategies of the Brand Plan in collaboration with cross‑functional colleagues and acts as a field‑based resource for Health Care Providers (HCPs) delivering scientific information for the therapy area in a timely, accurate and ethical manner. SrMSL provides medical and scientific support for building of internal stakeholder capabilities. The SrMSL works independently and contribute towards strategic planning.
Expectations of the Role
- Perform as scientific expert in the key therapeutic categories for external stakeholders, sharing scientific data with HCPs, discussing all aspects of the data in a scientific, objective and balanced way.
- Build and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) as advocates.
- Undertake KOL identification, engagement and analysis, speaker development and engagements with other external stakeholders.
- Initiate and conduct impactful internal training & development on information regarding current clinical data and emerging trends in medical practice within therapeutic categories.
- Support cross‑functional stakeholders especially in medical education activities, sales conference meeting and brand strategic plan, by presenting medical insights and suggestion on the current medical situation from patient, clinicians and scientific perspectives.
- Contribute and support the clinical data generation, patient access to innovative medication, the scientific communication with key stakeholders.
- To promote and adhere to Zuellig Pharma’s core values when carrying out day‑to‑day responsibilities and interactions.
Attributes Required
Must‑Have
Candidate graduated as Doctor of Medicine (MD) with subspecialty training on related Therapeutic Areas, or with PharmD, Doctorate Degree (PhD) or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy.1‑2 years of related working experience, preferably within the therapeutics area of diabetes, metabolic, or cardiovascular.Strong scientific, medical, and technical skills in Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, and Medical Information.Advantage to Have
