Job Description

Ensure the upkeep of utility assets and machinery at optimum running condition and comply with 5S, safety, and company rules and regulations. Practice the HARTALEGA Way, which encompasses SHIELD values, ESG, 5S, and Operations Excellence.

• Performs installation, breakdown maintenance, and preventive maintenance for all equipment under the care of the utility department.
• Ensure boilers, chillers, and air compressor systems are always operating in optimised conditions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or required repairs to the supervisor / engineer.
• Investigate and identify solutions to utility problems.
• Identify abnormal or emergency situations and take immediate necessary correction action.
• Perform other duties or special projects as required by the superior.
• Required to work in shifts, on-call, and work on mandatory overtime as per company policy.
• Perform and maintain general housekeeping of the work area.
• Ensure work safety of all jobs and adhere to the company's HSE policy.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the superior.
• Improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Liaise with other departments / plants for any activities related to multiple department involvement.
• Ensure all documents are done and kept properly in compliance with ISO and keep track of all records.
• Always look for ways to reduce breakdown time and prevent breakdown.
• Take care of all tooling and properties given to them.
• Attend all training held and customised to them.
