Job Summary
The role of the Due Diligence Associate (Remediation) is to ensure that all external (client) and internal (Ethixbase360) remediation requests are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with SLAs and deadlines communicated by team management. The analyst must understand the deployed Ethixbase platforms, report platform defects, and respond to client queries regarding remediation outcomes and processes. The job description provide the core duties; additional responsibilities may be assigned by the manager.
What you will do
- Perform remediation tasks and research-related work to remove false positives from IDD, IDD+ and OGM alerts against Ethixbase platforms, as requested by clients.
- Own the resolution of client level‑1 remediation queries within agreed first‑response timescales; coordinate with team members to meet SLA targets and scale appropriately to L3 (IT) or line management for high‑severity issues.
- Act as a liaison between clients and Ethixbase teams to update on remediation progress, issue resolution, or new developments.
- Contribute to the knowledge base by creating new material and updating existing content.
- Collaborate with the global Remediation and Research teams; proactively offer help, ask clarifying questions, and collaborate to improve processes.
- Continuously update knowledge on new Ethixbase products and related technologies; keep line management informed of personal development goals.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, using appropriate tone in both face‑to‑face and screen‑share settings, and adapt your thinking based on others’ feedback.
- Work within the specified hours and remain present and available during the working day.
- Adhere to client and Ethixbase procedures; seek clarification when procedures are unclear.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, supporting the long‑term prosperity of the business.
Who you are
Degree level education with preferably one year of relevant experience in Due Diligence, Compliance, Research or Writing; new graduates are encouraged if skills match.Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills, particularly Mandarin and Spanish, are a bonus.Concise and clear presentation skills.Proven track record in relationship building and effective teamwork.Authorized to work in Malaysia or the Philippines.Additional Information
This role sits within the Due Diligence – Remediation team and reports directly to the Manager – Remediation (Malaysia based).
