Senior Business Development Director (AVP) Broking-Employee Benefits To activate, grow and expand productivity of the Employee Benefits Scheme and to retain existing renewal business via the Broking channel.

Responsibilities

Manage the GID-EB broking team to achieve personal sales targets by developing renewal and new business.

Drive business development of GID-EB through the broking channel to achieve targets.

Track sales performance and key initiatives to prepare weekly sales reports.

Manage day-to-day distribution support and activities for existing corporate clients to achieve sales and profitability targets.

Assist in organizing events, health talks, and employee briefings for corporate clients.

Involve in projects or initiatives to grow the overall direct Employee Benefits business.

As part of the leadership team, collaborate with key stakeholders to shape the organization’s culture and conduct aligned with Core Values.

Champion culture and behavioral expectations within the Department / Division.

Comply with Credit Control Procedure (CCP).

Take accountability for business and regulatory compliance risks and mitigate them.

Maintain awareness of industry regulatory trends, emerging threats, and technologies to safeguard the company; highlight concerns and share best risk management practices.

We are looking for people with

Education – Degree or Diploma in Insurance, Business Studies & Marketing.

Minimum of 7 years of work experience, preferably in marketing or sales in the financial industry.

Good communication skills — written and verbal.

Industry practices and knowledge of competitors and their products.

Flexible with time for training, product launches, functions or events during weekends, public holidays, and after office hours.

Managerial skills – experience in managing a sales team.

Problem-sensing and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple activities or sources of information.

Alignment with the organization’s core values through expected behaviours.

Result-driven with a focus on delivering the best results.

High integrity, accountability, and teamwork mindset.

Initiative to improve the current state and adaptability to change.
