We are seeking a highly driven and dynamic Unit Head, IUTA Business Development to join our team at RHB Asset Management. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing impactful marketing strategies to drive Unit Trust sales performance through Institutional Unit Trust Advisers (IUTA). You will lead business development initiatives, foster strategic relationships with IUTA partners, and support the team's overall sales objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented leader with a strong passion for investment products and partnership development.
What You Will Be Doing
- Plan and develop effective marketing strategies and activities to achieve IUTA KPIs in Unit Trust
- Manage and enhance ongoing relationships with IUTAs to drive Unit Trust sales
- Conduct and participate in IUTA’s product trainings, workshops, seminars, roadshows, market chats, and tea talks to strengthen business relationships
- Plan and conduct regular visits to IUTA branches to provide product updates and encourage sales growth
- Gather and report market intelligence on trends, competitors’ products, and other relevant insights
- Foster excellent rapport with IUTA partners to ensure continued business support
- Communicate and report performance progress to your superior regularly
- Motivate and collaborate closely with team members to achieve sales targets
- Provide professional guidance and mentorship to junior managers to drive performance and capability development
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Unit Trust business development, wealth management, or related fieldsProven ability to build and sustain strong external business partnershipsStrong knowledge of the Malaysian Unit Trust industry and distribution landscapeExcellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to execute initiatives effectivelyPassionate leader who can motivate teams and lead by exampleStrong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skillsWhat We Offer
