Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day execution of the QC activities, including conducting incoming, in‑process, and final product inspections; identifying, managing, and deciding on the disposition of nonconforming items; ensuring correct usage and regular calibration of measuring instruments; facilitating customer witness inspections as required.
- Day‑to‑day execution of the QA activities, including preparing Material Test Certificates, Product and Project Quality Plans, and other quality‑related documentation; performing supplier evaluations and on‑site audits; supporting audits conducted by customers and certification bodies.
- Day‑to‑day execution of the Environmental activities, including monitoring scheduled waste, air scrubber systems, and industrial effluent treatment plant (IETP); conducting environmental briefings, site inspections, and legal compliance reviews; assisting with audits from customers and regulatory bodies.
- Day‑to‑day execution of the OH&S activities, including investigating workplace incidents and accidents; ensuring safe use and certification of lifting equipment; conducting safety briefings, inspections, and legal compliance checks; participating in audits from customers and regulatory authorities.
- Ensuring the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (QMS, EMS & OHSMS) comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and international standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications
Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality, Environmental, and / or OH&S functions.Familiarity with mechanical testing, XRF testing, microscopic examination, ISO certifications, environmental regulations, fire safety, and OH&S compliance is an advantage.Strong command of English (both written and verbal) for QEHS documentation.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Personal Qualities
