The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse keeper. He / She will be controlling, and processing inventory related to the receiving, storing, issuing, shipping goods, supplies parts in the stockroom and stocking locations.
What you will do
- Responsible for supervising and training warehouse keepers & material handlers
- Monitoring inventory control function
- Process and handle inventory posting, transaction and coordinate inventory movement
- Coordinate production order kitting to the floor before start date
- Oversees and develop strategies that improve cycle count process for efficiency and first-pass accuracy
- Recommend and improve upon inventory accuracy
- Advise warehouse keeper on care and preservation of items receive, storage, and shipping goods
- Ensure warehouse keepers use of equipment with safety as a priority
- Trace, identify and rectify discrepancies between physical inventory and stocking records
- Adjusts and tracks errors for all operations with the mindset to identify root cause and error-proof method
- Anticipate & implement new processes to improve efficiency of operations
- Plan layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored
- Assign duties and examine work for neatness, and compliance to policies and 5S procedures
- Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor

Bachelor’s degree or equivalentAt least 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience MRP operating environment, experience in Microsoft Navision is a plusAt least 3 years of supervisory experience; ability to handle conflict issuesExcellent working knowledge of supply chain management, and inventory management with Lean manufacturing management principles#J-18808-Ljbffr
