Assistant Chemist

Job description

• Assist Chemist in laboratory and QC functions
• Assist in new product research and development
• Participate in control and calibration of equipment
• Assist Chemist and suggests solution to routine problems
• Carry out the appropriate disposition of nonconformance products, including customer rejects
• Assist material evaluation process for new vendor / material selection, recommending the acceptability
• Recommend quality improvement measures to the immediate superior
• Recommend new formulations to ensure acceptability
• Initiate actions on problems relating to products, functional process and quality system
• Involve in preventive actions / continuous quality improvement programs
• Attend technical service / technical support, as and when required
• Aware of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management System and its implementation
• Aware of Safety, Health and Environmental issues at workplace
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the superior

Job Requirement :

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay : RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
