Job Description / Responsibilities :

1.Drafting :

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers.
  • Modify and update existing drawings as required.

2.CAD Software Usage :

  • Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other relevant CAD software to create 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Ensure drawings are precise and adhere to design standards.

    • 3.Technical Documentation :

  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.

    • Prepare supporting documentation, including material lists and specifications

    Collaboration & Coordination :

    Work closely with engineers, and senior draughtsman to ensure designs meet project requirements.

  • Coordinate with other departments and other professionals such as civil & structure , hydrology water resources and etc for project execution.

    • 5.Compliance & Standards :

  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

    • Adhere to safety and quality standards in designs.

    Site Visits & Inspections (if required) :

    Visit project sites to collect data, take measurements, and verify drawings against actual conditions.

    Other Duties :

    Perform additional design-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.

    Job Specification / Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting or related position.
  • Civil 3D / Civil structure will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other drafting software.
  • Experience in river engineering and flood mitigation projects is an added advantage.
  • Able to work overtime if required.

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of drafting principles and techniques.
  • Able to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
