Responsibilities

Champion the QA automation efforts and direction within allocated team and offshore group
Own and evolve the test automation strategy using Tosca across UI, API, and data layers on Web and Mobile application
Perform hands-on test automation UI, Mobile and API
Collaborate / mentor automation engineers and promote best practices in modular, maintainable test design
Lead CI / CD integration of Tosca with platforms like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, using Tosca Execution Clients and APIs
Strategize and lead efforts to identify new tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency of test automation in Pickles
Evaluate current automation maturity and drive transition planning to new tools (e.g., AI-driven platforms) with POC
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to embed automation into release pipelines
Work with Program QA Lead to define and track automation KPIs, coverage metrics, and ROI
Strong work experience in Agile methodology
Ongoing active involvement and contributions within the QA chapter
Contribute to innovation and initiatives for standardisation and automation within the group

Experience & Knowledge

8+ years in test automation, with 6+ years hands-on experience in Tosca

Deep understanding of Tosca CI / CD integration via Tosca Execution Clients, including scripting in PowerShell or Bash2

Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, and test result reporting

Familiarity with test configuration parameters (TCPs), execution lists, and distributed execution

Strong grasp of test management tools (e.g., Jira and qTest)

Proven success in leading tool migration initiatives and building automation frameworks from scratch

Working experience in other automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, Appium is a plus
