Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation software for production systems and equipment.
  • Integrate PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and sensors into manufacturing systems.
  • Design and deploy scalable solutions using Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, edge computing, AI).
  • Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to deliver comprehensive automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and refine automation workflows and control logic.
  • Build and maintain systems for data logging, performance monitoring, and predictive analytics.
  • Ensure systems comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in factory automation or industrial control systems.
  • Strong teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and technical communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, edge computing, or AI-driven automation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle. Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Work location : Onsite – fully onsite at Seremban or 2 days in Seramban and 3 days in KL.
