Job Vacancy : Operation Auditor (Petrol Station & Car Wash)

Location : Northern Region, Malaysia

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Operation Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits at petrol stations and car wash outlets, ensuring compliance with company standards, monitoring stock movements, and producing accurate reports with actionable analysis for top management.

This role requires hands-on involvement in stock verification on the ground, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to improve operational efficiency and minimize losses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct stock take and physical verification of fuel, lubricants, convenience store items, and car wash consumables.
  • Audit cash handling, daily sales, and operational records at outlets.
  • Identify discrepancies, irregularities, or risks in operations and recommend corrective measures.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, analysis, and suggestions for improvement to top management.
  • Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in developing and refining internal controls to prevent stock loss and improve accountability.
  • Work closely with outlet supervisors, operations managers, and the finance team to resolve audit findings.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in managing stock take for multiple outlet, operations auditing, retail audit, or stock management (experience in retail industry is a must).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit reporting tools.
  • Willing to travel within the northern region for on-site audits.
  • Strong sense of integrity, independence, and attention to detail.

    • Salary Range (Northern Malaysia)

  • RM3,000 – RM4,500 per month (depending on qualifications and experience).
  • Additional allowances for travel, audit-related expenses, and performance incentives may be provided.
