Responsibilities
- Master all basic cooking methods like cutting of ingredients.
- Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to menu / SOP needed for the station daily.
- Responsible for proper storage of food preparation and storage area.
- Improve food preparation methods based on feedback.
- Perform overall cleaning duties of the kitchen area, all crockery and equipment.
- Maintain food safety standards.
- Be familiar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions when handling them.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head Chef & Chef De Partie.
- Ability to work in a team.
