Responsibilities

  • Master all basic cooking methods like cutting of ingredients.
  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to menu / SOP needed for the station daily.
  • Responsible for proper storage of food preparation and storage area.
  • Improve food preparation methods based on feedback.
  • Perform overall cleaning duties of the kitchen area, all crockery and equipment.
  • Maintain food safety standards.
  • Be familiar with the use of all electrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observe safety precautions when handling them.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Head Chef & Chef De Partie.
  • Ability to work in a team.

Work Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma in related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the same job role in F&B industry.
  • Good team player able to work independently.
  • Able to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
  • Be able to follow directions from the Head Chef and be consistent with food preparation.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality dishes.
  • Adaptability and the ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.
