Our Reap Direct team crafts and maintains cutting‑edge client‑facing web and mobile platforms, including essential products such as Reap Card, Reap Pay, and expense management solutions. We are dedicated to building reliable, user‑centric experiences with empathy, prioritizing the client’s experience and needs.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Reap Direct team, you will own the full development lifecycle of features, from conception to deployment. You will play a key role in creating scalable, maintainable, and robust systems and user interfaces that are truly customer‑centric. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and product stakeholders to design and craft innovative solutions that address our clients’ everyday challenges.

- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, driving seamless product development from concept to deployment.
- Engineer applications that meet the best quality standard in the fintech industry.
- Lead by example and raise the bar for engineering practices and quality.
- Keep our tech stack modern and competitive by staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Improve the reliability and stability of production products with a large user base, ensuring uninterrupted service.
- Contribute to our team’s growth by assisting with resume screening and conducting interviews for new talent.
Minimum Requirements
Experience : minimum of 6 years of front‑end development experience, with a track record of owning and operating business‑critical systems.Coding standards : ability to deliver maintainable, tested and production‑ready architecture and code.Problem solving : you care deeply about correctness, edge cases, and failure modes. You approach problems with curiosity and care, debug thoughtfully, ask questions and aim for correct, maintainable solutions.Frontend : in‑depth knowledge of React.js ecosystem, micro‑frontends, state management, CSS processors (e.g. SASS) and frameworks (e.g. MUI, Styled‑components / Emotion).Technical judgment : you balance technical depth with product understanding, applying sound judgment when making tradeoffs.Engineering growth mindset : you seek feedback, enjoy learning from others, and can raise the bar of the engineering team.Collaboration : you enjoy working on a team, writing clear code, and participating in peer reviews. You communicate clearly and respectfully, challenge ideas and help raise the quality of the whole team.Preferred Qualifications
Domain exposure : experience or interest in fintech domains—such as payments, credit card issuer, or exchanges—is a plus.Experience in mobile app development : familiarity with React Native and the app publishing process.AI fluency : actively use AI tools to accelerate work and deepen understanding.High‑growth environments : experience in fast‑paced teams or startups is helpful.Our Stack
