Compliance - Quality, Safety and Risk Executive
To ensure all requirements related to Safety, Health, and Environment are fully complied with and maintained.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for managing all activities of the general administration related to the Compliance (Quality, Safety, and Risk) Department.
- Human Resource functions
- Finance functions
- Administration functions
- Purchasing and stock functions
- Documentation functions
- To assist and manage the failing system on the system controller and oversee documents for an entire department. Ensure the proper documents are created and signed, that all data is accurate, and that documents are stored and backed up.
- Working together with the SHE Region team and all the Head of Services at the site to ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is adequate for the required staff and delivered on time at the site.
- Ensure compiling, monitoring, and reporting to the Head of Compliance (QSR) the compliance report as per statutory requirement from authorities' bodies (e.g., DOE, DOSH, FMA, etc.), company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Working together with the SHE Region team and all the Head of Services at the site to manage, monitor, cooperate with all vendors and contractors on Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and procedures; ensure that all their personnel are fully aware of the SHE policies and procedures.
- To update the performance report by monthly to the Head of C-QSR Department.
- To schedule and organize Safety and Health Committee Meeting and Environmental Performance Monitoring Committee Meeting; and monitoring and compilation of minutes of meeting for all sites, including Workplace Inspection conducted quarterly as per regulations.
- To implement the Safety, Health & Environment Campaigns / Day or any related program organized by the C-QSR Department (Corporate).
- To conduct SHE-related induction and internal training programs to all employees at the Head Quarters level and ensure all SHE Internal Training documentation and reports are in place.
- To monitor the functioning of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) at HQ Level and provide the program for ERT effectiveness.
- As an Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001) and Second Party Auditor (Supplier’s Auditor) for the Company. After official training is given.
- To involve auditing activity (Internal / External / User / Third Party) and to make sure all findings are closed accordingly.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Academic Qualifications : The minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree in Environment, Occupational Safety and Health, or any equivalent relevant field.Engineering, Chemical Engineer, or Industrial Science, or any equivalent discipline.Attended any HSE course and risk management is an advantage.Knowledge : Familiar with HSE and Environment legislation and requirements in Malaysia. Familiar with the establishment of applicable procedures and documentation standardization from the work process.Attended any Internal Auditor courses for both standards is an advantage.Skills : Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in both spoken and written. Proficient in computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work with minimal oversight. Good understanding of fire data analysis and reporting process. Ability to apply and integrate Safety, Health, and Environment, and regulatory knowledge to business decisions and in the development of implementation plans.Ability to network, influence, motivate, and build a strong HSE culture to achieve HSE targets and expectations.
