Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with 6–9 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing Android mobile applications within the digital retail banking sector. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Kotlin and Java, with a strong understanding of banking application standards, performance, and security. Experience with CI / CD, DevOps, and Agile practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy high-performance Android applications for digital banking platforms.
  • Collaborate with backend teams, UX / UI designers, and QA engineers to deliver seamless mobile banking experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using Kotlin and Java, adhering to best practices.
  • Integrate with backend APIs and work with Oracle databases and RESTful services.
  • Apply modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and performance optimization.
  • Implement automated build and deployment pipelines using tools like Gradle, Fastlane, or Maven.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and reviews.
  • Ensure app security, compliance, and data privacy according to industry and banking standards.

Qualifications

  • 6–9 years of professional experience in Android application development.
  • Strong command of Kotlin and Java for Android development.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and backend integration via APIs.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Solaris, or HPUX environments.
  • Solid understanding of mobile security protocols, authentication, and session management.
  • Experience in Agile development processes.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines for Android using Fastlane, Firebase, or Gradle.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and mobile release automation.
  • Familiarity with code quality, unit testing, and crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics).
