We are looking for a passionate and analytical Sales Analyst to join our growing FMCG team. In this role, you will be responsible for turning sales data into meaningful insights — supporting demand forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Management to drive data accuracy, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate sales and demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, seasonality, and trade activities.
- Facilitate the Sales & Operations Planningdemand review process with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve collaborative forecast consensus.
- Identify business opportunities, risks, and deviations from forecast; provide actionable insights to management for timely decision-making.
- Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards using Sales Force Automation (SFA) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to track forecast accuracy, service level, and inventory turnover.
- Monitor offtake and sell-out performance versus forecast, engaging closely with Sales and Operations teams to prevent under-supply or overstock situations.
- Conduct root cause analysis on forecast deviations and sales performance gaps, and propose improvement plans to enhance business responsiveness.
- Support product launches, trade promotions, and campaign evaluations with data-driven insights and performance tracking.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and insights to management.
- Address demand-related issues promptly and collaboratively to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Support team and management by performing ad-hoc tasks when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field.Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales analysis, demand planning, or forecasting, preferably within the FMCG industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Business Intelligence (BI) tools is an advantage.Solid understanding of inventory management principles and sales operations processes.Strong business acumen with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.Sound mathematical and statistical knowledge to support accurate forecasting and analysis.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Able to multitask and perform under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
