- Implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) to govern aspects of quality control in laboratories aligned with Country QA / QC directions and initiatives.
- Execute policies, procedures, and documentation controls align with the group, to ensure consistency, traceability, and accountability throughout the quality control processes.
Quality Control Processes
Oversee implementation of proper quality control processes in the laboratory.Perform analytical results evaluation and data interpretation to verify ingredient and product quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.Cross-functional Collaborations
Collaborate with other cross-functional teams within the mill like Feed Production, Nutrition, Procurement, Sales and Marketing to address or resolve quality related issues from internal and customer feedback or complaints.Collaborate and implement group initiatives for quality improvement processes and laboratory or assay capability development.Testing and Analysis
Coordinate the laboratory testing and analysis of new feed ingredients and finished products with the Nutrition and Technical team to assess nutritional content, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Investigate deviations or discrepancies or non-conformances, and take corrective actions as necessary to address quality issues and ensure product consistency.Supplier and Ingredient Quality Assurance
Support in supplier audits and evaluation of supplier performance, and implement corrective actions to address any deficiencies or non-conformities through laboratory analysis results. Audits and InspectionsSupport internal and external audits by regulatory agencies, customers, and third-party certifying bodies, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions as needed at mill level, pertaining to quality control or laboratory aspects.Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Ensure implementation of improvement initiatives like Total Quality Management to enhance product quality and laboratory efficiencyTeam and Organization Management
Ensure continuous development of the team through training interventions, guidance and coaching on quality assurance principles, procedures, and best practices.Perform administrative functions on the conduct of duties.
Support in budget preparations. Documentation and ReportingPrepare, summarize and submit analysis results, regulatory filings, certifications, and other documentation required for product registration, approval, or market access to the Country QA / QC Manager.
