About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Tutor Mathematics and Science to join our team at YOUEDU.' based in Tongkang Pechah Johor. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics and science tuition to primary school students.

What you'll be doing

Developing and delivering engaging, interactive lessons to help students excel in mathematics and science
Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to student progress and lessons
Develop and prepare structured Mathematics and Science learning modules tailored for primary school students.
Ensure all teaching content is accurate, age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with the school curriculum.
Teach Mathematics and Science lessons to primary school students, both in-person and online.
Apply effective teaching strategies to make lessons interactive, clear, and easy to understand.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback or guidance to improve their learning outcomes.
Plan and record high-quality teaching videos for Mathematics and Science subjects.
Deliver explanations clearly and engagingly suitable for e-learning platforms.
Collaborate with the team to edit and upload teaching videos into the company's educational app.
Provide additional academic support to students who need extra help in Mathematics or Science.
Create exercises, quizzes, and assessments to evaluate student learning and understanding.
Work closely with the academic and content development team to improve learning materials.
Participate in meetings, training sessions, and discussions to enhance teaching quality.
Stay updated with the latest teaching methods, educational technology, and curriculum changes

What we're looking for

Cheerful and engaging personality – Must be friendly, approachable, and able to create a positive learning environment that makes students feel motivated and comfortable.

Passionate about teaching – Truly enjoys working with children and has a genuine interest in helping them improve their understanding and performance in Mathematics and Science.

Strong subject knowledge – Possesses a solid understanding of primary school Mathematics and Science, with the ability to explain concepts simply and engagingly that young students can easily grasp.

Excellent communication and presentation skills – Able to deliver lessons clearly, confidently, and effectively both in-person and through recorded videos.

Creative and patient in teaching – Skilled at making lessons interactive, fun, and memorable while also having the patience to guide students who may struggle with certain topics.

Comfortable with technology – Familiar with online teaching tools, e-learning platforms, and basic video recording or editing to support the preparation of digital learning content.
