The System Design Senior Manager will oversee the System Design Team's operations and development, focusing on system development, debugging, and customer deliveries. This role involves direct customer engagement to ensure that our solutions meet and exceed expectations. You will guide our strategy, collaborate with engineering development teams, and work closely with global system development and customer engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge system solutions.

The Person :

This role demands extensive technical experience, problem-solving abilities, management acumen, and interpersonal skills. You should be an effective communicator, capable of building respect and conveying status updates to executive-level audiences.

We seek an ambitious engineering leader with a proven track record in system design and development, coupled with the ability to foster cross-team collaboration, mentorship, and the development of technical leaders. Strong multi-functional alignment and team-building skills are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead the System Design Team in developing, validating, debugging, and delivering system solutions.
• Directly engage with customers to ensure successful delivery and implementation of system designs.
• Define and align hardware, software, and firmware requirements to achieve system improvements.
• Assess current system capabilities and identify opportunities for generational enhancements.
• Grow and develop the system design team to support existing IP / SOC / SW / FW engineering and product management teams.
• Establish and maintain ecosystem partnerships for solution components.
• Ensure system assessments and customer platform attainment to deliver industry-leading products.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and with development partners.
• Collaborate with architects to set design and development plans and objectives (IP, SoC, Power, Firmware, System, etc.).
