About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Spa Therapist to join our team at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio, located in the beautiful Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a full-time Spa Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional wellness experiences to our guests, helping them relax, rejuvenate and recharge during their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of spa treatments, including massage, facials, body wraps, and other holistic therapies
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring each guest's experience is personalised and exceeds their expectations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised spa environment
  • Recommend appropriate treatments and products to guests based on their individual needs and preferences
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new spa treatments and services
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a certified Spa Therapist or similar role in the natural therapies and alternative medicine industry
  • Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, facial treatments, and other spa services
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a personalised and memorable experience for each guest
  • Certification in relevant spa or massage therapy disciplines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their relaxation and rejuvenation goals
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
