About the Role
We’re looking for a data‑driven Demand Planning & Inventory expert to own our forecasting process, lead S&OP, and optimize inventory across all warehouses. You’ll ensure product availability, minimize stockouts and excess, and elevate planning accuracy—while keeping master data in SAP rock‑solid.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain accurate forecasts for all product lines using historicals, market trends, and sales inputs.
- Apply statistical tools / APS to evaluate models and test new methodologies.
- Continuously refine forecasts based on market dynamics and stakeholder feedback.
- Run the monthly S&OP cycle to align demand and supply with business goals.
- Facilitate cross‑functional S&OP meetings; surface risks, gaps, and scenarios.
- Communicate forecast and inventory status to stakeholders regularly.
- Track inventory health (DOH, turns, coverage vs policy) and trigger proactive actions (rebalancing, planned run‑outs, write‑off prevention).
- Implement best‑practice controls (cycle counts, variance RCA, reorder policy reviews) to lift turns and reduce carrying cost.
- Own planning parameters (safety stock, min / max, lead times, lot sizes) with a fixed review cadence.
- Ensure SAP master data accuracy (UOM, lead times, MRP views, locations / bins, batch / expiry); resolve gaps with Warehouse / IT and enforce governance.
- Identify process opportunities across planning and inventory.
- Introduce best practices and emerging tech to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay current on industry trends and methods.
- Take on related tasks that support the team’s objectives.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related; Master’s a plus.Experience
5+ years in demand planning / forecasting or supply chain (FMCG / pet food preferred).Hands‑on S&OP and inventory management experience.Strong proficiency with APS / ERP (SAP or similar), MRP, purchasing, and production planning.Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365; working knowledge of Project and Power BI.Proven ability to juggle priorities in a fast‑paced environment.Certifications (Nice to Have)
APICS / CPIM / CSCP or equivalent; LEAN / Six Sigma (Black Belt or above a plus).Skills & Attributes
Forecasting & statistical modeling; inventory optimization.End‑to‑end supply chain understanding (procurement, production, logistics).Sharp data analysis and scenario modeling; detail‑oriented with high data hygiene.Clear communicator and collaborator across Sales / Marketing / Finance / Supply.Growth mindset, resilient, innovative, customer‑centric, and humble.Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making; able to lead cross‑functional forums.Why Join Us
