Job Description

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for the Group Managing Director (GMD) with internal staff, Board members, business partners, and external stakeholders, handling correspondence, calls, and meetings in a professional manner.
  • Provide financial and business analysis support, including monitoring and reviewing the Group's P&L performance, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Support the GMD in analyzing project and business unit financial performance, highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities for management decision-making.
  • Assist in consolidating financial and operational data from various departments and subsidiaries for management review.
  • Prepare presentations, briefing papers, business reports, and other documentation required by the GMD for meetings and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and support board, leadership, and senior management meetings, including agenda preparation, data compilation, minute-taking, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Provide proactive diary and schedule management for the GMD, including planning of meetings, travel arrangements, and timely reminders of key deadlines.
  • Organize company events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings as directed by the GMD.
  • Draft letters, agreements, and correspondence on behalf of the GMD, maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative, organizational, and office support as required to ensure smooth operations of the GMD's office and the Group as a whole.
  • Undertake other duties as may arise due to contingencies of work or at the GMD's direction.

Requirement

  • Minimum 3–5 years' working experience, preferably in finance, business analysis, management consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, P&L review, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • High integrity, commitment, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage (liaising with China stakeholders when required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with financial reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
