Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Materials Science Engineering, Mechatronics or something of relevant field Possess 5 to 8 years’ of relevant experience Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint software Knowledge / Experience with auditor training, certification is preferred Knowledge / Experience with statistical background and lean / six sigma training, certification is preferred Background / Experience in the metal part and / or plastic part industries is preferred Possess knowledge or certification on QMS standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, AAG, ISO 13485, SO 14001, UL, NEMA, etc.) Annual leave, paid sick leave and medical / dental coverage entitlements 5 days work week (Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm) Remote work arrangements (Working from home)
Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality (Based in Malaysia, 1 year WFH contract)
PCI Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality to join our Quality Assurance department. This position is a 1 year contract role, and will be placed under an Employment Agency.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct Supplier Selection (SSAC) audits, Quality Management System (QMS) audits, process reviews, environmental audits, compliance reviews of PCI suppliers
- Promptly communicate, drive, analyze and resolve material quality and supplier issues related to PCI mechanical and electromechanical suppliers
- Monitor, develop and improve the quality performance of PCI mechanical and electromechanical suppliers
- Work closely with QA, IQC, IPQC, OQC, and various PCI internal functions related to material and supplier concerns on mechanical and electromechanical suppliers in a timely manner.
- Compile regular and ad hoc supplier quality performance reports for internal and external parties (customers, suppliers, auditors, etc.)
