About the Role
The Executive, Process Change plays a key role in driving process optimization and value improvement initiatives within the Material Planning Department (MPD) under PTP’s Supply Chain Division .
This position focuses on managing and supporting PIPO (Process Improvement & Process Optimization) and VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) projects that enhance spare parts management , reduce cost, and strengthen inventory control and supply ability .
The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering & Facilities , Project Integration , and Suppliers , ensuring all process change projects are executed effectively, aligned with technical feasibility, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Improvement (PIPO) & Value Engineering (VAVE)
Lead and manage detailed PIPO / VAVE projects , ensuring alignment with business objectives related to cost optimization, inventory holding, and supply reliability.Conduct feasibility analysis, risk assessments, and cost-benefit evaluations for proposed process changes.Collaborate with suppliers, Engineering & Facilities Division (EFD), and internal technical experts to validate design improvements, material specifications, and test outcomes.Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and progress trackers.Present project outcomes and recommendations to management, highlighting ROI and operational impact.Ensure projects comply with PTP’s quality, health & safety, and governance standards.2. Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate documentation of all PIPO / VAVE initiatives, including records of trials, approvals, and implementation results.Generate and publish weekly and monthly KPI reports on project progress, stock availability, and process efficiency.Prepare management reports on inventory optimization performance, PIPO pipeline, and material cost savings.Ensure effective use of ERP / MRP systems for process tracking, bill of materials (BOM) updates, and part master data integrity.3. Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as a key liaison between Supply Chain , Engineering & Facilities , Finance , Project Integration , and external suppliers.Work with internal departments to validate technical specifications and align with company standards.Support internal coordination for project timelines, scheduling, and execution of improvement initiatives.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across departments.4. Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Support initiatives related to Integrated Management Systems (IMS) , ensuring documentation quality and audit readiness.Apply principles of quality assurance and control in all change projects.Use analytical tools to interpret data, monitor process stability, and recommend process enhancements.Contribute to the implementation of PTP’s Lean and Transformation initiatives, fostering operational excellence and accountability.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Bill of Material (BOM) Management, Process Improvement, or VAVE projects.Working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).Experience in Design Engineering , Project Management , or Process Optimization within industrial or engineering settings is an advantage.Strong technical understanding of spare parts, manufacturing processes, and inventory principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability.Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and presentation.Knowledge of quality assurance, risk management, and document control systems.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.High attention to detail with a structured, results-driven mindset.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.Seniority level
