Accountable for all aspects of own intervention decision and therapy deliver professionally and legally, including the management of patient care.
To undertake the assessment of patients, using clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide a physiotherapy impression of their condition.
Provide appropriate support, to formulate prognosis and recommend best course of intervention, developing discharge plans.
To formulate and deliver individual and group physiotherapy treatment program based upon knowledge of the evidence of the treatment options available. This commonly involves manual physiotherapy techniques.
To evaluate a patients' progress, re-assess and alter treatment program whenever is required and to develop reflective practice.
Fully responsible on delegated case management and ensure proper handover of cases. Document and update the patient medical record.
Provide psychological support in term of empathy, sensitivity and good interpersonal skill to encourage patients and their care givers in an active approach to regaining and maintaining independence of the patients' condition.
Requirement :
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
