PEC, an international technology supplier, committed to enable the production of green batteries for a Blue Planet, is seeking a Country Manager to join our new plant in Penang, Malaysia. By becoming a part of our mission, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the first large-scale battery factories in Asia, Europe and the United States, thereby contributing to a greener future. The Country Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the plant, which includes managing sales and support engineers as well as administrative personnel. This role involves various tasks such as :

• Operational management of the plant, including the definition and follow-up of individual objectives, and the optimization of the company’s results in Malaysia.
• Manage, improve and extend relationships with key customers, suppliers and government (nationwide)
• Manage staffing and contractors
• Daily coaching of the Engineering and Manufacturing teams in achieving their targets
• Closely co-operate with Engineering, Sales and Production at HQ in Belgium
• Further grow and develop the PEC brand and business in Malaysia
• Direct report to the CEO
