A well-established MNC that is a strong player in its industry and has presence globally. They just get listed and looking to bring on board an excellent Financial Accountant to support their business in Bangsar South.

Job Description

Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing and internal reporting which includes the preparation of P&L and BS commentary, management reporting pack, etc.

Manage project accounting and reporting

Review and approve journals

Prepare and review SOX control workpapers for controls in scope

Prepare quarterly tax calculations and support annual review

Prepare and assist with tax compliance

Prepare statutory accounts

Assist with budget, annual audit, SOX and tax testing

Support projects and initiatives benefitting the operations

Assist with any other local administration tasks as required

Any other ad-hoc requests as required

Requirement to succeed

Degree in Finance or Accounting and currently hold a professional accounting qualification

Prior MNC experience is essential (experience working for Australian and / or US listed company is desirable).

Background in audit or previous employment in one of the Big Four is an advantage

Ideally have prior experience on SOX, SAP and HFM

Australian tax knowledge is favourable

Excellent written and verbal communication (English fluency is a must)
