I-Call International is looking to hire more Japanese Interpreters to work remotely. As a Japanese consecutive medical interpreter, your primary responsibility is to facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients who speak Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other information between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and other medical staff.
• Provide cultural mediation services to help patients understand the healthcare system and navigate it effectively.
• Assist healthcare providers in understanding cultural differences that may affect patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in the interpretation profession.
• Document interpretation services provided, including the date, time, duration, and type of interpretation.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest medical terminology and healthcare practices to ensure accurate interpretation.
