The Consultant is expected to have a deep understanding of, and primary responsibility for providing expertise in Finance / Controlling preferably strong in CO & public cloud to effectively integrate SAP Solutions into the clients’ business environments to achieve agreed results. The Consultant is assigned to deliver tangible, sustainable, effective and quality SAP-related business solutions for new implementations, ongoing customer support and, implementation of additional functionality. Provide consulting services to clients in an efficient and effective manner, based on technical

expertise and experience.

  • Act as subject matter expert in Finance and Controlling
  • Delivery of workable solution, with primary focus on SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), and integration with other modules, to meet clients’ business requirements
  • Act as primary resource accountable for FICO deliverables. Carry out all phases of the project, from Business Blueprint (including detailed design), Realisation (including Configuration, Data Migration, Testing & Training), to Final Preparation & Cutover / Go Live support, and Transition to Support :

Run and facilitate workshops to carry out Business Analysis and detailed design of Business Solutions

  • Define business goals, scope of work and scope of change initiatives; outline and translate specification of business requirements (FRICE functional specifications); and provide solutions to a level that enables effective delivery of agreed scope of work or changes
  • Configure the system to meet design and business requirements
  • Perform unit testing on all processes (embracing planning, design, management, execution and test scripts) and provide assistance and issue resolution for System Integration and User Acceptance testing using appropriate techniques that conform to agreed project standards – Assist with Data Migration including preparation, guidance to customers, writing upload programs, and loading data
  • Facilitate logical integration testing with other related SAP modules and interfaces in order to verify end-to-end business process
  • Develop (embracing planning, design & documentation) and execute training as required
  • Carry out applicable Change Management Processes as pre-defined by project management
  • Prepare and conduct project handover to Support Consultant
  • Apply and utilise Industry and Business Best Practice knowledge and tools
  • Adhere to corporate standard, security guidelines and sustainability, and deliver within time constraints
  • Identify sales opportunities at existing customers and communicate internally to management team
  • Support presales effort as needed in response to proposals, and conduct demonstrations and presentations
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues

    Qualification and experience as subject matter expert specialising in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO). Must have proven depth of skill, knowledge and expertise in : GL (including New GL and Document Splitting), AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Banking and integration knowledge on OTC and P2P processes. Also experience on account determination and intercompany transactions

    CO-PA, CO-PCA, Cost Center and Internal Order accounting and product costing experience

    Prerequisites include :

    3-5 years of SAP implementation experience for consultant profiles and 7-8 and more for Senior consultant profiles.

    Multiple end-to-end implementation experience (covering medium and / or large projects)

    Understanding of country-specific legal and regulatory requirements

    Implementation experience using ASAP methodology

    Ability to closely collaborate with Developers, writing Functional Specs and testing Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflows

    Ability to take full ownership and responsibility for the stream deliverables, including integration points with other modules and teams

    Outstanding functional knowledge and gap analysis experience; detailed understanding of business operations to ensure the best solutions are provided to our customers

    Strong issues resolution experience with excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills :

    Demonstrated ability to extract, scope and document requirements and translate these into technical specifications

    Passionate in analysing customers’ issues as well as to build and improve existing processes

    Strong experience in troubleshooting of process problems and technical developments, as well as implementation of new functionality

    A highly positive, motivated and proactive self-starter who is able to work in a team as well as independently. Solid time and task management skills; must be able to manage own workload as well as competing and conflicting requirements
