We are seeking a passionate High-Frequency System Design Engineer to join our R&D team in developing next-generation Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Test & Measurement Instruments (T&MI) for the semiconductor industry. This role blends high frequency system hardware design, simulation and signal integrity analysis, offering an exciting opportunity to work on high-performance systems at the cutting edge of technology.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-frequency mixed-signal systems for CMOS Image Sensor and digital test applications.
- Perform advanced SI simulations using tools such as ADS, HyperLynx, LTSpice, or equivalent.
- Conduct signal integrity and power integrity analysis to ensure robust high-speed performance.
- Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to embed DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Work closely with Analog, Digital, Firmware, PCB, and Mechanical teams for full system integration.
- Simulate and validate system performance for timing, crosstalk, reflections, PDN stability, decoupling, and transient response.
- Utilize lab equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, spectrum analyzers) for prototype verification and troubleshooting.
- Document design approaches, simulation methodologies, and validation results for team knowledge sharing.
- Support NPI and production teams in troubleshooting technical issues during product ramp-up.
