As the Sales Coordinator / Executive at Uchida MK Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in sales and driving the company's objectives. Based in Shah Alam, Subang Selangor, this full‑time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to contribute to the success of a growing organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle sales transactions, including processing orders, issuing invoices, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and claims promptly and professionally, providing effective solutions and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Provide after‑sales service, addressing any post‑purchase concerns, coordinating repairs and replacements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Actively engage with potential and existing customers, understand their needs, and offer suitable furniture solutions from our collection.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and Japanese clients, ensure smooth communication, coordinate product availability, and resolve any issues.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, including the latest trends and features of our products, to effectively guide and advise customers.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Malay for internal coordination, including collaborating with team members and participating in meetings.
  • Market planning, analysis, and business development.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Study, Sales and Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both clients and team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create detailed reports and presentations.
  • Customer‑focused mindset and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and an understanding of the sales industry.
  • Working experience in the furniture industry an added advantage.
  • Able to start work immediately an added advantage.
